From: Cynthia Sabatini Date: 9/01/2007 7:29 PDT I spent about an hour looking at the meteor shower this morning, between 4-5 am PDT. I'm not a scientist, just an interested person. Here is my "report" location: Suburban Sylmar, California Time: 4:00 am to 5:00 am Meteors: 25 Peak seemed to be between 4:10 and 4:20 am, there were 10 durning that period. Location of meteors 4-4:10 area between Cassiopea and Orion in varying directions 4:10 -4:20 wide range of the sky in various directions mostly from the North to east and south, a few to the west 4:20 to 4:30 lower on the eastern horizon 4:30 to 4:40 lower on the NNE horizon 4:50 -5:00 very low on the NNE horizon (in the sme area as the Hale-Bopp comet several years ago) As a bonus I did see the ISS briefly Most of the meteors were very prominent, had a moderate length and colorful trails 4 were very fain and to the north. I'm not sure if any of this is useful information, but I was very pleased to see this meteor shower. Cynthia Sabatini
