From: Jeff Peters Date: 9/01/2007 5:05 PDT Good morning, Just wanted to let you know that I saw two Aurigid meteors around 6:10 am CDT within at least 10 seconds of one another from Norman, Oklahoma. The second of these two had a deeper burn into the atmosphere (i.e. brighter and wider trail than first). Both meteors were observed with the naked eye in an unobstructed view of the northern sky (approximately 60-70 degrees up from the northern horizon), and travelling from north-northeast to north-northwest. I had the moon to my back, and I could also see Venus rising on the eastern horizon. Enjoy the show from your vantage point. Thank you for the great information on your website. Have a good day, Jeff Peters Norman, OK
