From: Charles Clark Date: 9/01/2007 5:29 PDT I just got lucky and there was reasonably clear sky over SE Orcas Island from 0330 (when I first looked) to 0452 (when clouds rolled in during the course of a few minutes) PDT on September 1, 2007. My mother, Mary Clark and I watched from sea level, N 48 36.43, W 122 48.20. I counted 25 meteors between 0354 and 0450 PDT, in E, ENE and NNE sky, elevations between 20 and 70 degrees above the horizon. Perhaps 5 of these were sufficiently intense to leave trails that remained visible for a fraction of a second. Charles W. Clark
